Who is C.F.I.?
Based in Shanghai, China, C.F.I. Consulting Ltd. (C.F.I.) was incorporated in July 2001. It was the first Chinese consulting company focusing its business on forest, pulp and paper industry.

C.F.I.'s mission is to provide quality service to China's forest, pulp and paper industry, by taking its unique position in domestic and overseas markets and pooling multiple resources, expertise and industry talents in its professional team. C.F.I. maintains close relationship with government organizations and academic institutions for latest information on industry legislation, policy and all other information. Apart from its own data base, C.F.I.'s capability is further strengthened by joining hands with renowned industry professionals, scholars, professors, engineers, economists, certified public accountants, auditors, evaluators, managers, trainers, analysts and lawyers etc..

C.F.I.'s main services:

• Providing general and customized information on forest, pulp and paper industry.
• Providing customized reports, analysis, evaluation, liaison and consultation for investment, equity acquisition, enterprise restructuring, M&A and trade activities of Chinese and foreign enterprises.
• Promoting communication and mutual understanding between Chinese enterprises and their overseas counterparts.
• Cooperating with government authorities, industry associations, industry media, research and consulting institutions home and abroad to facilitate the foreign investment in China.
• Providing managerial consulting services in company strategy, marketing management, staff training and operation upgrades etc.
• Sourcing, training and placement of human resources for Chinese and foreign firms in the industry.

• Publishing the monthly "Report on China's Pulp & Paper Development" and other information services through the traditional media and the web (www.chinaforestpapercom).
• Sponsoring the domestic and international forest, pulp and paper conferences and forums and helping foreign firms to carry out seminars in China.
• Implementing the secretariat's duties of China Forest & Paper Executive Club, an NGO sponsored and managed by C.F.I. and comprising some 40 Chinese and foreign pulp and paper enterprises.
